Fundació Ictus has extensive experience in providing support and guidance to people affected by stroke and their families, as well as in raising public awareness about the prevention and consequences of this condition. Through its counselling services, support programmes and educational activities, the foundation works to address the needs of people affected by stroke at the different stages of recovery and adaptation to their new reality.
Over the years, Fundació Ictus has developed a deep understanding of the impact that stroke has on the daily lives of individuals and their families. This experience, together with its ability to foster the participation of people affected by stroke, promote awareness-raising initiatives and contribute to the dissemination of knowledge, makes it a valuable partner in European projects aimed at representing the voices of patients and families in research and improving care and quality of life after stroke.
Our role in the SEISMIC project
- Provide the perspective of people affected by stroke.
- Facilitate the involvement of people affected by stroke and their caregivers.
- Contribute to the design of user-centred tools and methodologies.
- Support the dissemination of the project's results.
